Each of these bowls is wheel thrown from stoneware clay with skill and care. Painted with colored glazes, the Women of Africa range depicts the strong women of Southern Africa who proudly wear their traditional headgear and tribal costumes, and whom Zizamele has captured in clay for posterity as many of these outfits are no longer seen.
