The BaTonga tribe from Zimbabwe have been making baskets from Ilala Palm leaves for centuries and are very well known for their weaving skills. Binga baskets, also commonly called Tonga baskets, are traditionally used for processing grain harvests. They are usually round and flat, perfect for modern decor. While generally neutral tones, they can also be naturally dyed.
