Storm in a Teacup has been handcrafting unique ceramics for over 15 years. All of their pieces start on the potter's wheel, a technique that reverts back to ancient times. Their designs are frequently inspired by African ceremonial vessels but have added adaptations for contemporary living. All pieces are fully functional, durable, uncomplicated, and timeless. These ceramics are a reflection of the natural beauty and vibrancy of South Africa. The work is "informed by rural landscapes, clear blue skies, succulents and lichen covered rocks which lie in silent elegance of ages gone by."
