Fezile Ntshofu is a Cape Town based ceramicist with over 20 years of experience in the industry. Fezile has worked primarily as a surface decorator for Potterswork, a vendor that we love and have carried since opening. He helped to forge the distinctive painting style that Potterswork has come to be known for. Recently inspired by traditional elements of Xhosa culture, Fezile has moved into exploring new forms in clay, and he continues to combine his distinctive painting style in the clay medium. Fezile Ntshofu is the winner of the New Signature Award at the 2022 Ceramics Southern Africa National Exhibition and his work has been included in the Corobrik Collection, South Africa's premier contemporary ceramic collection.
