In my pursuit of the richest tonal range and the most faithful translation of my vision, I turn to Piezography—a process perfected by Cone Editions Press in Vermont. Known for its unrivaled subtlety in black-and-white printing, Piezography uses carbon-based inks that produce breathtaking detail, velvety blacks, and an almost infinite spectrum of mid-tones.

Each print is created on museum-grade Hahnemühle fine art paper, whose luxurious surface and archival qualities provide the perfect foundation for the work. The combination of this paper’s tactile beauty and Piezography’s precision results in images that are both technically exquisite and emotionally resonant.

Like my platinum/palladium prints, these works are crafted to endure—both as physical objects and as vessels for the stories they carry—allowing the viewer to experience the depth and nuance of the original moment for generations to come.
