This beautifully hand carved wood cheetah is handmade by artists in Zimbabwe. They use a single piece of non-indigenous Jacaranda wood. Each piece is carefully crafted and unique and not one piece is like another.
Using their unique coat as camouflage and reaching speeds of up to 60 miles per hour, Cheetahs are not only the fastest land mammal but also fierce hunters. Their name is derived from the Hindi word Chitah meaning "spotted one". They are a favorite of many around the world!
