This Afro Deco Beaker is a one of a kind piece made by ceramic artist Clementina Van der Walt, Cape Town, South Africa. Each piece is one of a kind and there are no repetitions in designs. Clementina’s Afro Deco series is inspired by modernist painters such as Malevich, Kandinsky, and Miro. The series is made up of gold luster and brightly colored ceramic decals which are arranged randomly on each piece. These ceramic items are food safe and may be gently washed in by hand. Colors are carefully chosen and designed to complement each other. Colors and designs stated are of the main accent color offered, and photos are not always the exact item shown. Food safe - but it is recommended to NOT wash in a dishwasher or used in a microwave.
