The Iona Gold Filled Earrings by Beloved Beadwork are a piece of wearable art! Delicately woven these are named for the clusters of Iona Abby in Scotland. Not only do these take three hours to weave, it also requires undeniable skill.
In a country with high unemployment, making labour intensive items is a great way to boost employment. Making meaningful, sustainable jobs is a big part of what motivates us the artists at Beloved Beadwork. Two hours of intricate hand-weaving were required to create these beauties.
