Essentially prompting a collective examination of what art can be in a post-pandemic world. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eNomusa Matshali (1986) graduated with a Fine Art B-tech from the Durban University of Technology in 2018. The Durban born artist’s work explores gender fluidity and queer identity within the context of South African society via the pseudo-persona of Titanium, who lives their life on an imaginary escape planet where gender is non-binary. Titanium is a persona and a utopia space, where Mtshali makes sense of their own world.
